GRAND CHUTE, Wis. -- Say this for Travis Teeter: he's confident and honest, even if bluntly so.
Teeter lost his no-hitter and shutout with one pitch Friday night, but his run-scoring single was the difference in RPI's 2-1 victory over Lakeland (Wis.) in the first round of the NCAA Division III World Series. Teeter allowed only two hits.
He said he knew he was in control after the first pitch.
``They were just chasing balls that weren't in the strike zone,'' Teeter said. ``I knew I could throw high and they'd swing at them.''
