Greenhouse Gases Targeted
The Secretariat of Energy (Sener) and the Latin American Organization of Energy (Olade, for its initials in Spanish) met to discuss the need to emphasize the necessity for innovative technological approaches to improve energy efficiency and reduce the emissions of greenhouse gases.
The objective of the meeting was to establish a forum to promote the clean energy generation utilizing fossil fuels, as well as to institutionalize regional collaboration between Latin American and European energy industries.
