IOC's Coles says Samaranch will battle on
Australian IOC member Phil Coles said today IOC President Juan Antonio Samaranch had been
"injured" by allegations of corruption among the body's members but he expected him battle on
in the job.
Coles said Samaranch was "mortified and very hurt" by revelations emerging from the
investigations into Salt Lake City's winning bid to host the 2002 Winter Olympics.
