In a way, you can visualize veteran basketball coach Damian Fantauzzi's long career as a hop, step and a jump.
First, he started coaching boys basketball at Schuylerville High in 1968. Then, in 1969 he hopped over to Granville High to coach the boys.
In 1972, Fantauzzi jumped down to Saratoga High to take over as boys coach. After three separate tenures as coach of the Saratoga boys, he is now in his second year as coach of the Saratoga girls.
Oh, and during one of those interim periods when he wasn't coaching either gender at Saratoga High, he was coaching the men at Skidmore College.
