Qld: Police investigation into missing gun
BRISBANE, Aug 22 AAP - Queensland police have begun an internal investigation intothe loss of a police pistol believed to have fallen out of an officer's holster last weekend.
Two officers were patrolling on trail bikes east of Logan Village when one of the officersdiscovered his loaded Glock pistol was missing.
Police searches of the area have failed to find the weapon.
The police Operational Research and Advisory Unit and Ethical Standards Command werenow conducting an internal investigation into the loss, a police spokeswoman said today.
