Quiet night after disastrous start to Easter road toll
Despite a disastrous start to the Easter holiday break on the nation's roads, police
in all States are now reporting a relatively quieter period, with no new fatalities.
The national Easter toll stands at 15, including three children.
On day three of the official-statistics period, deaths have been recorded in all mainland States.
Four people have died in both New South Wales and Queensland, three each in Western
Australia and Victoria, and one person's been killed in South Australia.
